For some unknown reason, I had been really reluctant to try it. I mean, it's really kind of strange considering the number of people I see tweet/blog/Facebook/talk about how amazing it is. Maybe I was afraid it wouldn't live up to the hype? I'm not sure.
But this weekend, I saw it and being in a go-with-the-flow mood I grabbed some. Like the true fraidy-cat I am, I had my husband try it first. I had to make sure it was actually worth trying and whose opinion do I trust more?
So I tried it.
The verdict?
L-O-V-E, love. I guess you guys were right all along! I just didn't know what I was missing. And now, sadly, I am out of this delicious Nutella and grocery shopping day is still a few days away. I don't know how I'll survive....
Also. I think I may have to search for some Nutella-using recipes. Suggestions? And what do you guys put Nutella on? Toast? Waffles? Pancakes?
Isn't it amazing?? I could eat it every day so I only eat it on pancakes. That way I won't eat it every day!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha! We got our first Nutella jar a couple of months ago. It was basically the same. We smeared some on some bread, gave each other "I will if you will" looks, and then were like, "Why on earth did we wait so long?!?!"
ReplyDeleteyou can eat that goodness on just about anything!! :D
ReplyDeleteand I'm one of the "weirdos" that hates it. I'd much rather have good ol' peanut butter. but that probably has something to do with the fact that I am not really a fan of chocolate and it tasted way more like chocolate than hazelnut.
ReplyDeletemy sister eats it. i have yet to try it. she uses it instead of peanut butter.
ReplyDeleteI think Nutella should be a major food group! You can eat it on just about anything! I have made Nutella cupcakes and they were a HUGE hit! Pinterest has some great recipes with Nutella!
ReplyDeleteNutella is also something I've managed to avoid in my 26 years. I do not need another sweet treat to get addicted to!
ReplyDeleteNutella Crepes!! We add cherries to the top! So good.

Ahh Nutella... Actually, I'm trying to cut back on it because its so fattening lol
ReplyDeleteI would take multigrain club crackers and dip them straight into the jar. Yeah, sometimes I went a little overboard, and that's probably how I gained 10lbs in a month!! I want to try the to-go Nutella though :)
This is so funny because I have been scared to try it too and I picked up one of the same things from the Wal-Mart check out line LOVED it! Now I can't wait to bake Nutella things either!
ReplyDeletePINTEREST! Tons of Nutella recipes! My cousin made me Nutella brownies from there yesterday.. AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteIt's SOOO good! I like it but I think it's really rich.
ReplyDeleteNutella on Vanilla Wafers, Graham Crackers. I love mine on a spoon. And sometimes I microwave a bit of it, even though the jar says not to.
