NOT in My Head

Before yesterday, I really thought that I was "seeing" a baby bump. You know, seeing something that wasn't actually there. When we left for church last night, I had Joe snap a quick 11 week picture of me. I meant to take one at 10 weeks but I forgot and then I got sick. So...11 weeks it is. I quickly glanced at the pictures on the camera and set it down before we left. Later I realized that I might not be making it up after all...

Clearly, not much going on at 8 weeks. My pants were feeling a bit snug at this point, but no belly. Well, other than the one I already have. =P

A little over 3 weeks later... Hello, baby bump!!! I'm sure a little bit of it is the angle, but I was a tad shocked when I saw the picture!! I'm also needing a bit more stretch in the pants now too. For now, a hair tie helps with the jeans and when I'm at home I just wear my yoga pants or stretchy shorts. My non-stretchy shorts still fit pretty well, which I really don't understand since they're the same size as my jeans. Whatever. =P

I hadn't planned on posting any baby bump pictures yet, but I just had to share this. I mean, how could I not?! Plus, some family reads my blog and I haven't posted any pictures of the belly on Facebook yet.

Now, I gotta go get ready to finish my busy day. =)

  2. Oh yes, there is definitely a baby bump! :) Wait another couple weeks, and you'll REALLY pop out! I remember at around 14 weeks, I went from bitty baby bump to "Hello, here I am!" lol! I did the hairtie trick as well. Worked wonderfully! Another great thing to get is a maternity belt. If you haven't gotten one already, it's a great investment, saves a ton of money, and allows you to wear your pants a lot longer! I wore mine all the time. You just wear it to cover up the bottom section of our belly, including any pant gaps, and it just looks like you're wearing a tank top under your shirt. I'm glad to read that your cold has gotten much better. They're rough! I hope everything at church goes well for you this week. :)

  3. There is def a baby bump forming!! So fun! One thing I find that is soooo worth the money is the baby bella band they are about 16 bucks at target http://www.target.com/p/Be-Maternity-BeBand-Assorted-Colors/-/A-10949803 they are great and wayyy more comfy than a hair tie and saved me from having to buy maternity pants for a long time. I found maternity pants were too short and baggy for me!

  6. Already popping!! I didn't start "showing" until 13 weeks, but really didn't start showing until 18, haha. Invest in a belly band for a couple months until you switch to maternity pants.
